Kim Patra

Kim Patra SRN/RM; OAM, (Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife, Order of Australia) trained as a Registered Nurse and a Midwife in Australia, before moving to the Island of Bali thirty years ago.
Since her move to Indonesia, Kim has been involved in many facets of health care on the Island, from giving simple general medical advice over the phone to flying the sick or injured to all corners of the globe as a medical/nurse escort. Over the years, Kim has been an active midwife consulting with women on the Island regarding family health. In addition to working with The Lighthouse Bali, Kim runs her own private family health practice in Sanur.

As a qualified hypnotherapist, Kim assists clients using mind over body medicine techniques. She has run birth hypnosis classes for over a decade. Kim is passionate about helping clients improve their physical health and mental wellbeing. 

Kim is also active in charity organizations, including those supporting people living with HIV, their children and other family members. Kim is also a health writer for a Bali based publication through which she keeps the expat community advised about health related issues.
Kim enjoys her role as a member of the Medical Team at The Lighthouse Bali, overseeing our clients’ detox regimes and general health matters.
