Pande Putu Wahyu Wirananta, known as Wahyu, is a Balinese Executive Chef with over 5 years of restaurant experience. Wahyu’s culinary qualifications were gained at the Sheraton Hotel in Bali and through his Food and Becarage Education at SMK Negeri 5 in Denpasar (Bali). Wahyu’s training has included (but not limited to) Food preparation and cooking techniques, ingredients selection, and hygiene and sanitary practices.
Wahyu develops personalized menus for clients according to both their dietary and nutritional needs as well as their personal preferences. Wahyu’s creativity in the kitchen never fails to impress. Sourcing the highest quality and freshest ingredients produced within Bali, Wahyu is able to create nutritionally balance meals which look stunning and taste incredible.
Wahyu works closely with our clinical and nutritional team to fully understand the needs of clients while working directly with the client to create dishes to their liking. Working for years in some of Bali’s 5-star hotel kitchens, Wahyu understands the importance of delivering food to the highest standards and of consistent quality.
Wahyu enjoys the challenge of creating healthy food because of its freshness and vibrant colours. He enjoys hearing, and acting on, clients’ requests and feedback which plays an important role in The Lighthouse Bali recovery programs for clients both nutritionally and emotionally.
